Paraguay
Paraguay has some of the lowest tax rates in the Americas (10% top income tax, 10% corporate tax, 8% on dividends) and a residence permit with no fixed deposit under the 2022 migration law. The catch is that the territorial rule is narrower than it looks: interest, deposits abroad and foreign dividends of a Paraguayan-resident investor can be treated as Paraguayan-source, there is no UK tax treaty, and a card alone does not break UK residence.
Latitax verdict
Mostly territorial with a 10% top rate, and one of the cheapest residence routes anywhere.
Ideal for: Cost-conscious founders and a low-cost second residence.
